Frequently Asked Questions

What is a modular house?

Modular buildings, as the name reflects, mostly consist of factory-made elements of the same size. These elements are delivered to the construction site in a turnkey or structurally ready state, and only the elements are assembled there.

How does a modular house differ from traditional construction?

Externally, it is not necessarily possible to tell a difference in the case of the finished building. The difference is basically in the design and the production process.
We do not deliver many 100-1000 different building materials to the construction site.
We do not expose ourselves to the weather or any other aggravating circumstances.
We do not assemble the final building-house from different raw materials at the construction site, we do not wait for traditional technological and drying times, but instead we create modules using today's modern technology in factory-operating conditions, we deliver this to the construction site and only assemble it there .
With the exception of the foundation, all other parts are made using dry construction technology.

How long does it take to build a modular house?

4-6 months.

What materials are used to build modular houses?

Basically, a steel frame structure with wood-based, glass wool or plastic-based insulation, in addition, the final appearance of the exterior and interior is all made of covering or covering materials well known in the traditional construction industry.

How durable are modular homes?

Their durability is completely the same as that of traditional buildings.

Can a modular home be customized?

If someone chooses a non-type plan, of course every building is customized.

What are the advantages of choosing a modular house?

Much shorter time, less money, zero stress.

How energy efficient are modular houses?

This basically depends on the customer's needs, but thanks to the modern materials and the layered wall structure resulting from the technology, we can achieve high energy efficiency even with thin walls.

What permits are required to build a modular house?

The authorization procedure is completely identical to the authorization procedure for traditional construction.

How much does a modular house cost?

This is, of course, a matter of customer demand, but compared to the traditional method, we can save not only time but also the initial cost.

How are the modular houses delivered to the site?

Mostly on public roads by truck.

What sizes and styles of modular homes are there?

The size is usually the product of 6X3 elements, i.e. from 18 m² to whatever the customer needs. The style can be any mansion, barn, modern, hi-tech, Japanese, traditional...

Can modular houses be insured?

Of course, the same applies to traditional buildings as well.

What is the difference between a modular home and a mobile home?

Mobile homes are mostly mobile and are on wheels. The modular houses are fixed to the base and assembled on site, so of course they can be disassembled and relocated, but they are not mobile!

What are the maintenance needs of modular homes?

The maintenance requirements are no different from traditional buildings, since mechanically the same technology is used, external cladding depends on the customer's needs, whatever the building, the external weather effects are the same, this is independent of the building's technology and the same applies to the interior, the customer decides what internal cladding it must be cleaned and maintained accordingly.
